gallery walls

I told you before that I wanted to rearrange the art and photos in our house. They've been the way they are for a few years now, and I'm ready for a change.

My big problem....I'm so bad at making quick decisions, especially about stuff like this. I take forever thinking about what I should do (and usually I never end up doing said thing because I can't decide what would be best).

So, I'm approaching this from a new angle. It's stuff that hangs on the wall. It can change...just like I want it to change right now.

So I'm throwing caution to the wind taking a risk chance...whatever. I'm just going to do it and see what happens. If we don't like it, we can change it. So there.

Here are a few things I've been looking at around the internets.

I've got a few gallery walls started in my house, but none of them are full and they seem kind of weird, to be honest. I'll post about them at a later date. So, for now, I want to investigate one gallery wall in some place...I'm thinking on the stairs - there's so much wall there.

I like how the framed art seems to go together but is not all the same.

I like the funky frames of this one...but I'm not too into so many things going together (insert the hubs saying REALLY? like scooby doo).

This one is nice. It seems to be sort of based on a grid, but is not too rigid.

There's something about all those orthogonal shapes moving up an incline that is just pleasing to me. This idea also leaves room for smaller, odd-shaped pieces.
